CLAROS SDV is assisting CLAROS Communications, Inc in the product launch is the CLAROS MedTech™ System, which supports health record reporting requirements for the health care industry. Acting as the leading distributor and training provider for the CLAROS MedTech™ System will enable CLAROS SDV to hire a large number of qualified veterans with emphasis on hiring service disabled veterans for key positions needed to be filled in bringing this service to the marketplace.

The CLAROS MedTech™ System addresses the Health Care industry, supporting Remote Patient Self-testing and Point-of-Care medical devices. The CLAROS MedTech™ System is a Clinical/Patient Testing and Monitoring Device Support System that support’s existing devices manufactured by third parties via a landline or wireless means. Anywhere a clinician or patient would have Internet access and/or cellular phone/wireless broadband coverage they could use a testing and monitoring device enabled to communicate to the Support System.

The CLAROS MedTech™ System includes the ability to append patient testing data (with details, e.g., test before breakfast, test after lunch) through a series of interactive queries. These queries can be facilitated in a machine to machine (M2M) proprietary device called the MedTechä Communicator that connects to existing third party manufactured testing devices and transmits testing data (appended data through query interaction if applicable) to the CLAROS MedTech™ System. This enhanced testing data transmitted to the System then undergoes analysis through the use of proprietary algorithms (such as analyzing blood glucose data from diabetes patients). The ability to collect and analyze this data in near real time provides more accurate information to clinicians allowing them to properly prescribe care to manage the patient’s chronic condition (e.g., patients to better adjust insulin dosages to more effectively manage their diabetes regimen).

Additionally, the CLAROS MedTech™ System will give General practitioners an additional tool to more effectively diagnose and provide initial treatment for chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes patients) in early stage care. Having the ability to treat early onset of chronic diseases such as diabetes in a timely manner can reduce health care costs and additional, more serious maladies that typically can accompany these diseases.

The System offers a comprehensive package of benefits for patients, providers and payers. Once enrolled in the CLAROS MedTech™ System, test results can be sent from the patient’s home or remote location. The System is designed for HIPPA compliance and includes integration into patient EHR’s, The System includes a clinical alert function that automatically evaluates patient testing data comparing results to pre-set testing parameters set by patient’s physician that trigger clinical and emergency notifications, The System is designed to integrate into insurance billing systems, medical billing systems, patient management systems, practice management systems and similar systems used for tracking and maintaining patient and clinical information. CLAROS MedTech™ System services are designed to be covered under existing insurance and Medicaid/Medicare (CMS) reimbursement codes. Our business model allows medical services by providers to bill, while still enjoying complete insurance coverage.
